Recipe of Mac and Cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions:
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions in your SENSARTE Nonstick Sauce Pan of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns into a light brown color.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, Dijon mustard, sea salt, and black pepper. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken.
- Add the shredded cheddar and Gruyere cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Transfer the mac and cheese to the SENSARTE Nonstick Skillet.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the mac and cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top of the mac and cheese before serving. Enjoy!
