Recipe of Onion Rings

Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  • Peel and slice the onions into ½-inch rings. Separate the rings and set aside.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. In a separate shallow dish, pour the buttermilk. And then place the panko bread crumbs in a third shallow dish.
  • Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess, then dip in the buttermilk, then coat with the panko bread crumbs. Set aside on a plate.
  • Preheat the SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan Skillet on medium-high heat with vegetable oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully add a few onion rings at a time and fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove the onion rings and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Repeat with the remaining onion rings.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
